I Wanna Dance with Somebody is an upcoming biopic of Whitney Houston, set to be released into theaters December 23, 2022.
English actress Naomi Ackie is set to star in the titular role, and Whitney fans rejoice because a new trailer just dropped!
According to Hollywood Life, the film will follow Houston "from her early days as a simple nightclub singer to a full-blown superstar, chronicling Whitney at the height of her fame."
The movie also stars Ashton Sanders as Whitney's husband Bobby Brown, Tamara Tunie as her mother Cissy Houston, and Stanley Tucci as record producer Clive Davis, who also serves as a producer on the movie.
