Will Ferrell's 18-year-old son Magnus recently played his first live show with his band, opening for the Psychedelic Furs at an event to benefit Cancer for College.

Of course, it wouldn't be a true Ferrell performance without a little cowbell.

Magnus Ferrell's set featured a cover of Radiohead's "Creep" along with three original songs, and his famous father playing his most infamous instrument made popular on Saturday Night Live.

Ferrell took the stage during Magnus' performance of "Back in Place."  You can watch the video at RollingStone.com.

Cancer for College was founded by Will's former roommate, Craig Pollard, and provides scholarships and educational aid to cancer survivors.
