Back in 2017, Princes William and Harry commissioned to have a statue built in dedication to their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
While recent reports have said that the brothers have recently been on the outs, the two reunited yesterday for the official unveiling of the statue, on what would have been her 60th birthday.
The brothers said in a statement, via Reuters, "Today, on what would have been our mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better. Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy."
William's office said they wanted the statue to reflect her positive impact in Britain and worldwide, and to help future generations understand "the significance of her place in history".
