A woman on Reddit is wondering if she's in the wrong after she banned her husband from the delivery room after she goes into labor.

This woman decided so after a fight ensued between herself, her husband, and her husband's family all over what they are going to name their baby.

Apparently, her husband's family has a tradition of knitting the baby's name onto a blanket and presenting it to the baby upon their birth.

However, the couple hasn't decided on a name for the baby yet. The woman has taken a liking to "Jessica," after her late sister. However, Mother-In-Law hates the name, saying it "was a name for a large girl, and it was a very unsuitable name."

Later on, mother-in-law shows up to the couple's doorstep with a blanket with a name SHE herself has decided on, "Connie." Now neither the woman nor her husband picked the name "Connie," and they don't want the name "Connie."

After a spout, the woman asked her mother-in-law to leave and an argument with her husband he dubbed her "selfish" and asked her to leave the house.

As such, she's decided not to tell her husband nor his family when she's going into labor, though now she's starting to have some regrets writing "I was rude to his mother, and I feel I have been impatient with my in laws. I may be in the wrong as it is a tradition and it's not my choice to break it. It means a lot to them, and it may have been unfair of me."

So is this woman in the wrong for banning her husband from the delivery room of his own baby? The mother-in-law basically decided (ON HER OWN) to give the baby a name neither the woman nor her husband chose or even wanted! That's not cool.

AND THEN her husband did ask his pregnant wife to leave their own home after siding with his mother in the argument.
