56-year-old Donald Ricketts of Poseyville, Indiana was out driving drunk Monday night when he drove left of the center lane and struck the driver's side of a tractor-trailer heading the opposite direction.
He immediately called his wife after the crash to pick him up and unfortunately, when Cheral Ricketts arrived at the scene to help her husband, she proceeded to crash her car into her husband's! AND, she was ALSO drunk!
Both cars were totaled, and when the state police arrived, they noticed signs of impairment from both couples so they administered field sobriety tests, both of whom failed.
Per WLKY, both Donald and Cheral were arrested, though police said the investigation was still ongoing, so no charges have been filed.
Luckily, the driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt during the incident.
