They certainly fight crime different in Slovakia.
A 24-year-old man tried to rob a gas station in the central European country this past Tuesday evening. He reportedly took money from the register, punched an employee, and even threatened to kill anyone in the store before making his way to the back to try and open the safe.
It is unknown if he was able to crack the safe or not, but he apparently committed all these crimes with plenty of time to escape before the police arrived. However, the 24-year-old became distracted, and was still at the scene when authorities arrived.
Apparently, a 36-year-old woman offered her "services" to the young man while he was in the back of the store, and was able to keep him distracted and occupied until the police arrived.
The thief was half-naked when the cops arrived. Allegedly, when the police burst into the room, the woman told the the officers "Take him away."
The police didn't release the woman's name, or why she chose to do what she did. But the thief was apprehended, and is now in jail.
