It’s the day every little girl dreams of and for Alicia Framis, her wedding day is this Summer! And she will be getting married to the man of her dreams.
It’s a fella that you’d think she could only come up with on a computer, because that’s exactly what she did.
The Spanish-Dutch artist is set to marry AILex, her AI hologram boyfriend.
According to Business Insider, Framis says the wedding represents a "new generation of love," where humans will be in relationships with holograms, avatars, and robots.
Apparently, AILex as built using data from Framis’ previous relationships, and she has no concerns that their love will be anything but genuine.
“Artificial intelligence companions and humans can be a beneficial option for people in need of companionship,” she said. This hologram will fulfill all my needs."
Framis was previously in a relationship with a mannequin named Pierre. She is claiming she will be the first woman to every marry a hologram.
