This past Tuesday morning, Johanna Gardell of Worcester, Massachusetts allegedly stole a pickup truck and proceeded to lead police on a wild chase.
Gardell blew through red lights, drove into oncoming traffic, and even crashed into several vehicle and was still able to get away. The police ended up calling off the chase for safety reasons.
It was at this point that Gardell grew a little peckish, so she decided to drive through a McDonald's to get some breakfast, even after committing a SLEW of crimes following the police pursuit.
Even though the cops weren't actively tracking her, they were able to corner Gardell in the drive-thru line when she attempted to escape again! She crashed into a pile of mulch on the McDonald's property, thus bringing the chase to an end.
Gardell was arrested, and is facing a number of charges according to ABC News.
The 38-year-old is looking at charges of failure to stop for police, leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, malicious mischief to motor vehicle, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct.
