After being together for five years, a couple in China split and the woman was seeking a very specific type compensation from her ex-husband: she wanted payment for all the housework he DIDN'T do during their marriage!
After taking her ex to a district court in Beijing, the woman, only identified as Wang, won a settlement of $7,700, of which the court is calling "housework compensation." The court also ordered the ex to pay her $300 per month in support, according to CNN.
Wang says for the duration of their marriage, she took care of their child and did all the housework alone, while her husband, "barely cared about or participated in any kind of domestic chores."
