A social media post is making waves in China after it revealed that some women have been secretly drugging their husbands with impotency drugs in order to prevent them from cheating.
The drug used is the over-the-counter estrogen supplement diethylstilbestrol (DES), which diminishes men's sexual drives.
Screenshots that have been posted online by several women confirm that they have been secretly slipping their husbands the drug, which is easy enough as it comes as an odorless white powder.
One woman wrote, "It took about two weeks after giving it to my husband for the drugs to take effect. My husband is now very good at home." Another wrote, "My husband suffered sexual dysfunction after using it and asked himself 'why?'. Don't blame me. I did it for the family and will continue to use it on him."
Luo Mo, a pharmacist with the Second People's Hospital of Hunan province, told The Star, that prolonged exposure to DES can cause cancers of the genitals and was actually banned in food. It should only be used under the guidance of doctors, Luo said.
