When you hear someone being called a "bimbo," you assume it's a woman who is rather attractive and also rather unintelligent.
However, a group of women are determined to redefine "bimbo" into a badge of honor.
A woman named Rachel Rounds wrote in the Daily Mail that she's "delighted" a "new generation of unashamedly girly girls are reclaiming the term. Young women who love dressing up are defiantly calling themselves 'bimbos' and refusing to be written off or belittled for their preferences."
Rounds also says "There is a joy to embracing your innate femininity, rather than behaving as if you are ashamed of it. And by reclaiming this term of belittlement, we've ensured it no longer has the power to hurt us."
