This past Sunday in New York, a restaurant on the Lower East Side was completely trashed after three customers got incredibly agitated that they were being charged for extra sauce.
Now “agitated” might be putting it lightly.
The three women stopped at a restaurant called Bel Fries, which specializes in French fries, at around 4:30 in the morning on Sunday.
When an employee behind the counter informed the three women they would be charged $1.75 for extra sauce, they grew absolutely incensed.
Glass bottles were being thrown, along with a metal stool amongst other items. The girls leaped over the counter, threw sauce EVERYWHERE, and even destroyed a plastic barrier.
All over $1.75
According to the New York Post, the women caused more than $250 in damage, and injured a 33-year-old female employee along with a male employee, both of which suffered lacerations to their head.
Bel Fries was forced to shutter its doors to make repairs and recover from the incident.
The police arrested the three women, Pearl Ozoria, 27, of Manhattan; Chitara Plasencia, 25, of Brooklyn and Tatiyanna Johnson, 23, of Brooklyn on robbery and criminal mischief charges.
Ozoria also allegedly punched the cop arresting her in the face and was slapped with additional charges of assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.
Plasencia and Johnson were each also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
