This is the kind of story that if didn't have video proof we wouldn't believe it. And even then we would have a TON of questions.
A zoo in Stafford, England has recently hired a Marvin Gaye impersonator in order to encourage some endangered monkeys to start...reproducing.
The Trentham Monkey Forest stated in a news release on Saturday that it hired Dave Largie, "a highly experienced love song guru," to help serenade a group of endangered Barbary macaques in the hopes that he could help "boost the monkey love" this mating season.
And thank the lord there is video of Largie in action!
According to Newsweek, Barbary macaques are native to Algeria and Morocco though sadly due to deforestation and the illegal pet trade, there are around 8,000 individuals left in the wild.
Well hopefully if Largie is able to work his magic, that number will soon be skyrocketing.
