The world suffered a devastating loss with the tragic death of Luke Perry nearly eight months ago.
On October 11th, the pain of his untimely passing was further exacerbated on what would have been his 53rd birthday.
While navigating through their heartache, Perry's "Riverdale" cast and crew have been vigilant in honoring their beloved co-star, most recently on the show's fourth season premiere episode.
Likewise, the actor's legion of fans have been sharing their own online tributes to cherish his memory.
To further commemorate his legacy, here are seven more reasons why we will never forget Luke Perry.
Team Dylan
In the early '90s, before the country was politically divided, families were torn apart trying to decide if they were Team Dylan or Team Brandon. While Perry and Jason Priestly played best friends on "Beverly Hills, 90210," their hunk status created rivalries that continue to this day.
Dylan and Kelly
Ok, maybe we spoke to soon. Not only did Dylan cheat on Brenda while she was away in Europe, but he did it with her best friend Kelly. While ordinarily this would be a huge scandal, in a true testament to Perry's star power, fans weren't mad at Dylan, they were just upset they couldn't be Kelly!
The Sideburns
He started the facial hair trend and the world followed. We all thought we looked as cool as Perry. We did not.
The Vanity Fair Cover
The pompadour. The bare chest. The gun. The Annie Leiibovitz photo was sexy, racy and controversial at the time. "Is Luke a Fluke?" As if they even had to ask.
Hey Zaddy!
As Archie's father Fred Andrews on "Riverdale," Perry was the epitome of #DadGoals. Caring, loving, supportive and handsome as ever, is he even acting?
Charitable Spirit
In addition to being an environmental activist and a strong LGBTQ ally, Perry was a huge advocate for colorectal cancer testing and research. While maintaining a part-time residence in Tennessee, the actor was also heavily involved with the Nashville-based nonprofit Soles 4 Souls, which distributes shoes to people in need.
Family Man
For all his accomplishments, it's safe to say Perry's proudest achievements are his son Jack and daughter Sophie. Both children have shared multiple messages expressing their love for their father, further reiterating the fact that he was an amazing man.
