A man in northern Wisconsin was in a high-speed chase with the police when he decided to drive into a field to try and outrun them.

Unfortunately, his escape was haltered by a new division of the Barron County Sheriff's Department: the Bovine Unit.

While driving through the field, the driver encountered a group of cows impeding his path, so he had no choice but to stop. The police had been chasing him for 13 miles before he decided to try his luck in the field and ran into the cows.

Luckily, no cows were struck during the incident.

The driver was taken into custody, and according to USA TODAY, is expected to be charged.
