The ink reads “Body Love” and features the “rock on” hand gesture used by the watersport company Body Glove, E! News reported.
Hill’s mom, Sharon Feldstein, who is also a costume designer, commented her approval, writing, "I love this and you."
“Big Little Lies” actress Zoe Kravitz championed her friend in the comments, writing “Yesssssss.”
Fellow Sharon Stone added, “Look at You,” along with clapping emojis and heart-eye emojis.
Hill’s fans were equally as inspired with one thanking him for “being yourself and loving yourself.”
The “Wolf of Wall Street'' actor has been very vocal about his body image struggles, which have been aggravated by the media and the fashion industry.
In February, The Daily Mail posted photos of the actor surfing and claimed he would not take off his shirt due to body image issues, which prompted a lengthy response from the actor.
“I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends,” Hill wrote on his page.
“Probably would have happened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren’t exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers,” he added.
He continued: “So the idea that the media tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can’t phase me anymore is dope,” Hill said.
The “Superbad” actor said he has finally learned to accept and love himself.
“This isn’t a ‘good for me’ post. And it’s definitely not a ‘feel bad for me post,’” Hill continued, adding, “It’s for the kids who don’t take their shirt off at the pool.”
