Who did 'The Routine' better: Ross and Monica or Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran?

Could that BE any more obvious?

While there are lots of iconic episodes and memorable moments from Friends, including Joey wearing all of Chandler’s clothes, and PIVOT! One other definite fave, no doubt has to be Ross and Monica's choreographed sibling dance in "The One with the Routine."

Though we didn’t get to see Courteney Cox and David Schwimmer recreate the epic number during the HBO Max Reunion, one half of the Geller duo got some help from a famous friend (psst.. it was Ed Sheeran) to make all of our “#ReRoutine” dreams come true.

So yeah, basically Courteney and Ed causally recreated the routine and posted it on Instagram for all of us to no so casually freak out about it. “Just some routine dancing with a friend,” Courteney wrote in the caption. Tagging Ed who also shared the dance, saying, "Had a reunion of our own this weekend @courteneycoxofficial #theroutine #iknow #friends4eva #obviouslybetterthanross.”

But umm, that last hashtag has us feeling some type of way, because sorry Eddy boy, but NOTHING beats Ross and Monica straight up nailing that routine from the 5,6,7,8 fingers snaps to the final pose.

Also, for everyone wondering how Court and Ed even know each other, they’ve actually been buddies for a minute. Ed even introduced Courteney to her boyfriend Johnny McDaid in 2013.

Moral of the story, while Ed Sheeran as a stand-in is buzzworthy, to suggest that it is what-so-ever, like EVER, better than the original is really a "moo point."
