ORLANDO, FL (1080 KRLD)- The entire FC Dallas team and staff are stranded in Orlando because nine players and a coach have tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The team went to Orlando for the "MLS Is Back" tournament last week. Everyone was tested before the trip and all results were negative.
But under MLS protocols, everyone was re-tested in Orlando and that's when the ten positives came back.
So, every member of the FC Dallas travel group is now quarantined in their rooms at the team hotel based on advice from MLS doctors.
It's still a big question as to whether any of the affected players will be available for the delayed season opener on July 9th against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
