On July 5th 2014, Steve Robles was out on a long distance open water swim when he was attacked by a 7 foot Great White Shark off the coast of Manhattan Beach CA, clamping down on his torso and injuring his hand.But in spite of that, has an amazingly postive attitude toward sharks...and feels like he has a greater understanding of them....plus he has some bad ass scars to show off at parties!!
