On Wednesday night, the Michigan natives performed for the first time in nearly two years at an intimate show in New York City. Now, the world gets to hear what’s next as Greta Van Fleet starts a new chapter via “Play Your Games.”
Recorded and co-produced in Tennessee by the band alongside producer Mike Elizondo, “Play Your Games” was inspired by one of the band’s oldest demos from their archives, according to a release.
“The flagship of that song is irreverence,” guitarist Jake Kiszka explains. “It’s this beautiful nature of seizing a moment.”
