The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced Friday that ramps from both directions of I-385 to I-85 Northbound will be in a new configuration.
On Sunday, August 11, travelers will find the ramps from both directions of I-385 to I-85 Northbound in a new configuration. The acceleration lane connecting the I-385 Southbound ramp with the third lane of I-85 Northbound will be shortened by three-fourths of a mile from its current configuration, terminating just before the Roper Mountain Road overpass. The ramp from I-385 Northbound will merge with I-85 Northbound three-fourths of a mile further north (towards Pelham Road) from its current merge location. Drivers should use caution through this area and as always, follow all new traffic signs and markings.
