Main Street has been fully reopened to vehicle traffic.
In a press release, city officials reported very few pedestrians utilized the closed road as a walkways.
Restaurants and retails also saw a reduction in business.
Parking spaces will be closed in a small section on the west side of Washington due to congestion on the sidewalk.
However, the press release states other parking spaces between Washington and McBee will remain open.
