Pickens County authorities are investigating the discovery of a man’s body found floating in the Saluda River Sunday afternoon.
The body was discovered by a homeowner near the river bank on the 4700 block of Farrs Bridge Road in Easley.
Pickens County officials said the body was fully clothed and there were no obvious signs of trauma. It appeared the body had been in the water for several hours.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Monday. The identity of the victim has not been released.
