In today's state House District 19 GOP primary, a former Greenville County Republican Party chairman faces a Fire District Commissioner.
Patrick Haddon and Bill Addis are on the ballot today to pick the GOP candidate for the State House District 19 seat.
The winner of today's special primary will face Democrat Carrie Counton in an Aug. 20 special election.
The western Greenville county house seat was vacated after Dwight Loftis was elected to the state senate seat that became open when state senator William Timmons was elected to the US Congress last November.
