
Crews will sand, pressure wash and prime the deck before applying an epoxy resin designed to offer skid resistance and traction on the bridge. Once the final coat is applied, the deck will be allowed to cure for at least 16 hours.
The City conducts biennial inspections of the bridge and the next inspection will take place in 2020; however, due to the extensive preventative maintenance performed over the past year, maintenance needs are expected to be minimal for the next three to five years.
