Meals on Wheels of Greenville has received a grant that will be used to support technology maintenance and upgrades at their facility. The $10,000 was received from Bank of America last week.
“Ensuring the technology at Meals on Wheels of Greenville is properly maintained and updated is critical in maximizing efficiency for our staff and the clients we serve,” said Catriona Carlisle, Executive Director at Meals on Wheels of Greenville. “This grant from Bank of America will support that initiative by replacing outdated technology and will allow us to safeguard our multiple database programs for client and volunteer services, along with donor relations. We are tremendously grateful for their generosity and support of our program.”
Meals on Wheels of Greenville will use some of the funds to replace laptops for a number of staff members.
Back in November, the organization recieved a $5,000 grant from Dabo’s All In Team Foundation that went to use to support their At-Risk Children and Homebound Seniors Meal Program.
