Bernie Sanders’ campaign has announced on Wednesday that the senator and Democratic presidential candidate will cancel all events and appearances “until further notice,” following a heard procedure for a blocked artery.

Sanders, 78, was treated at a Las Vegas hospital due to chest pain during an event on Tuesday. Shortly thereafter, two stents were inserted and Sanders is reportedly awake, talking and “in high spirits,” according to his campaign.

His wife later sent a letter to the AP saying Sanders was “doing really well.”

Still, the news has cast doubts on Sanders’ health and, as a result, his ability to perform the duties of office.

Some have questioned whether Sanders, the oldest candidate running on the Democratic side, is the apt candidate to lead the party into the future.

So what do you think?

Is Bernie fit enough to run?
