The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a fifth arrest today in a burglary investigation at the old Dunlop plant in Westminster.
26 year old Dylan Richard Copeland, of Cedar Wood Ranch Road in Westminster, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 12:03pm today by a deputy from the Warrants Division.
Copeland has been charged with four counts each of Second Degree Burglary, Grand Larceny and Malicious Injury to Property.
According to arrest warrants, Copeland is accused of making entry into the old Dunlop plant location during the fall of 2019 and the winter of 2019-2020, causing damage to the building and stealing non-ferrous metals.
At this time, Copeland remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
