The Anderson County Registration and Elections office has decided to open additional absentee voting locations around the county for the November general election.
These additional locations will be open during the first full week of October (October 5th-8th) and are meant to provide additional locational options for absentee voting.
Any registered Anderson County voter can visit one of the four locations to vote absentee.
In previous years, absentee voting could only be done at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections office.
These four locations were also opened for absentee voting leading up to the June primary and runoff elections earlier this year.
