The driver of a 1998 Toyota Avalon traveling west on Hayes Road in Anderson overnight lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a tree.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the driver veered left off the roadway near Highway 28 around 12:30am Wednesday and was not seat belted.
The driver was found deceased.
The Coroner has not yet released the name of the victim.
