Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported an arrest has been made in the hit and run collision that happened May 8th on Highway 123 near Bryson Street.
The collision resulted in death.
42 year old Michael Shore of Pickens was arrested Tuesday.
Shore is charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death and driving under suspension first offense.
He is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.
No further information was given as to what led to Shore's arrest.
5/8/20 Greenville, SC - Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports one person has died in a hit and run collision just west of Greenville early Friday morning.
A pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle around 1:36AM on US 123 near Bryson Street. The Greenville County coroner's office reports EMS found the victim in the roadway with multiple blunt force injuries.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital where he later died. The coroner's office has identified the victim as 19-year-old James Larry Lindsey of Greenville.
So far there is no description of the vehicle suspected of hitting the pedestrian. The Highway Patrol is investigating.
