
A Spartanburg man has been arrested on multiple charges, including attempted murder, following an altercation.
Spartanburg County Sheriff's deputies were called to Farley Avenue on August 4th around 6:30 PM where they found a man who had been shot in the leg.
The suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Christopher Duran Geter, and victim had been arguing, as confirmed by the victim and multiple witnesses.

Geter and the victim reportedly agreed to fight it out, but instead Geter took out a gun and fired it multiple times in front of witnesses and children.
The victim's leg injury was not described as life threatening.
Geter was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition by a Felon, Pointing/Presenting a Firearm, and Attempted Murder.
He is currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
