A felony traffic stop nabs the Bank of America bank robber.
86 year old Gilbert Paul Ware is behind bars this morning after he entered the Greenville bank Monday while masked, presented his gun and demanded money from employees.
According to the Greenville Police Department, Ware then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash but was later pulled over and arrested at the intersection of South Pleasantburg and East Antrim Drive due to a felony traffic violation.
Officers recovered the gun Ware used in the hold up along with the stolen money.
He is charged with bank robbery... more charges pending.
Arresting documents say a cash bond or surety bond is set at 10 thousand dollars, but has not been met.
Ware is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center.
