A heads up to boat owners out there. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is no longer going to be doing any boat inspections this weekend.
Earlier this week the department put out a news release saying there would be free boat inspections all Labor Day weekend long, with a schedule outlining when and where you could get your boat inspected.
Well, now that Hurricane Dorian has South Carolina in its sights, the Departments says it’s going to have to call off those scheduled inspection periods as a precaution against harsh weather.
