A body has been found in an Anderson County retention pond.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were called around 10:30 a.m. today about a possible body floating in the Appleton Mill retention pond.
Deputies found a person dead in the water when they arrived on the scene.
Forensic investigators, detectives and technical rescue personnel were called to the scene.
