The Greenville County Sheriff's Office has announced SLED is investigating one of their employees.
Capt. Darius Hall is being investigated by GCSO's internal investigation team and SLED.
Until the investigations are completed, he will be on paid administrative leave.
Hall was one of five candidates running on the Republican nomination to be the next Greenville County sheriff.
He placed in third with Hobart Lewis eventually winning the Republican nomination in primary runoff.
