Anyone who is stranded as a result of Hurricane Dorian will have a place to say, courtesy of the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
On Tuesday representatives with Charlotte Motor Speedway announced that the campgrounds there would be open to hurricane evacuees.
Specifically, the Rock City Campground located on Bruton Smith Boulevard will be open to the public, and evacuees will also have use of the bathhouse facilities there free of charge.
If you want to head that way, officials say you should first check in at the Camping World Racing Resort Office located at 6600 Bruton Smith Boulevard in Concord.
