An autopsy is scheduled for today on the body of a baby boy.
The Simpsonville man who had been free on bond following his arrest for child abuse causing bodily injury is back behind bars, this time held without bond.
Investigators say 14 month old Kingston Clark died of severe head injuries Christmas Eve morning.
He had been rushed to pediatric ICU at Prisma Health from his Simpsonville home Saturday afternoon.
His father, 20 year old Ashton Clark, is now charged with homicide by child abuse.
The arrest warrant accused him of twice slamming the baby's head against a wall, throwing him into some furniture, then waiting to call 9-1-1 until the child was unresponsive.
