
The Williamston Police Department is searching for a suspect in the theft of The City of Williamston's truck, trailer and lawn mowers.
According to Chief Taylor of the Williamston Police Department, the truck HAS been recovered, the trailer and lawn mower equipment are still missing.
As of right now, there is no information about a suspect.

The items were stolen from the city shed on Minor Street, Wednesday, in the Town of Williamston. The suspect cut the lock on the gate.
Sgt. Jody Culbertson said anyone with information can leave anonymous tips by calling 888-CrimeSC or directly at 864-509-7949.
Missing Items include:
Trailer - 18' with utility box
Mowers - Two 61" Staggs, One 48" Stagg with a bagger
Weed Eaters - Two Stihl weed eaters
Sgt. Culbertson said the suspect tried to steal another ride along mower but was unsuccessful. Oil was poured all over that mower but not damaged.
All the equipment belongs to the Town of Williamston. The stolen property adds up to about $50,000.

The RECOVERED truck is gray in color, two doors with a circular white and green Town of Williamston logo sticker on the drivers side door.
Chief Taylor and Sgt. Culbertson asked if anyone saw anything or has information to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CrimeSC.
