A man has been arrested in a “coughing incident” at the Boiling Springs Walmart from earlier this week.
According to Lt. Kevin Bobo with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, suspect Kyle Christopher Arendell of Spartanburg is charged with Aggravated Breach of Peace and Malicious Injury to Property.
Arendell was reportedly caught on video, that circulated on social media, seen coughing on merchandise inside the store.
He was arrested Thursday at approx. 2:00 PM, a bond of $6,000 was set by a magistrate judge, and at present, he remains incarcerated at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
