Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital will begin to offer hospital-based drive-through testing for COVID-19 beginning today, July 6.
The testing will be Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., near the hospital emergency department. People seeking testing at the Greer Memorial Hospital site should enter through campus entrance #4, which is the Brushy Creek facility entrance, and follow the signs.
In addition, Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital will expand its hours to 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday-Friday, beginning today, July 6.
The Oconee testing site has been moved to an area adjacent to the patient tower at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Patients must have a provider order for the COVID-19 test and official personal identification.
Hospital-based testing is only for those patients who have received orders from their physicians or from a provider through the Prisma Health Virtual Visit platform. Virtual Visit, at prismahealth.org/virtual-visit, is providing COVID-19 screening for free; use promo code COVID19.
Other Prisma Health-based hospital sites already operating in the Upstate includes ones at Greenville Memorial Hospital and Laurens County Hospital.
For information on Prisma Health’s community testing, which doesn’t require a provider order, visit prismahealth.org/coronavirus.
