A crash in Lancaster County yesterday involved a pedestrian, a school bus, and a log truck.

Highway Patrol reports the accident happened around 2:40 PM on Highway 9 near Clyburn Drive.

A school bus was facing west as it stopped to let a student off the bus.

A Kia SUV was stopped behind the bus; a Honda Accord was also stopped on the other side of the road facing east.

A pedestrian was standing in their driveway, waiting for their student to exit the bus.

A log truck traveling west hit the SUV which in turn was pushed into the school bus.

The SUV then traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

The school bus was forced left and hit the Accord.

Master Trooper Gary Miller says the pedestrian was hit by debris from the SUV.

The log truck which caused the accident went off road and hit several trees.

Fifteen students were on the bus.  Two sustained minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
