Once a COVID-19 vaccine is FDA approved... will you be vaccinated?

At the end of July, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease expert, testified before Congress saying a coronavirus vaccine may be available by the end of the year or early next year.

In an article written by Statista's Niall McCarthy, a new Gallup Poll generated some interesting responses to a vaccine.

The poll found that roughly one third of U.S. adults would be UNWILLING to receive a NO COST vaccine upon FDA approval.   But, 65% of Americans said yes.

Breaking it down politically, more than 50% of those who identify as Democrat or Independent said they would get vaccinated... 47% percent Republican.

The Gallop poll also showed those age 18-49 are most eager for vaccination.

A Prisma Health reminder, only Community Testing sites offer free, no-order-needed Covid-19 tests.

Sally Foister with Prisma Health's Marketing and Communications division stated hospital testing sites require a provider/doctor's order for testing.

Emergency rooms are NOT considered a testing site for COVID-19.
