Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an investigation after a cyclist's strange death this weekend.
Deputies received the call around 11:20pm Friday night about a body that was slumped over the bicycle on Labonte Drive in Piedmont.
After deputies arrived on scene, the man was still breathing but non responsive.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died.
He had a puncture wound, but the cause of death will be determined by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
