
Seventeen dogs were removed from a Laurens County earlier this week.
Laurens County deputies responded to a home on Highway 101 South near Gray Court around 3 PM on Wednesday.
They found several malnourished dogs outside; inside the home, floors were covered in filth and animal excrement.
The deputies noted the dogs had flea infestations and other health issues.
A total of 17 dogs were removed from the home; they are currently being cared for at a local shelter.

Randy Hill and Faye Hill were arrested and charged with 16 counts each of Ill Treatment of Animals.
They are being held in the Laurens County Detention Center.
