Dunlop Plant Arrest

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a seventh arrest today in a burglary investigation at the old Dunlop plant in Westminster.
38 year old Michael Chad Roach of Henderson Street in Pickens was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 12:14pm yesterday by a deputy from the Warrants Division. 
The E-911 Communications was notified that the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office had Roach in custody and arrangements were made to transfer custody of Roach to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office
Roach has been charged in arrest warrants obtained by investigators with one count each of Second Degree Burglary and Malicious Injury to Property. 
According to arrest warrants, Green is accused of making entry into the old Dunlop plant location on or about February 1st, causing damage to the building. 
At this time, Green remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center. 
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
