An EF-0 tornado touched down in Laurens Wednesday evening around 8:30p.m.
No warning was sent out from the National Weather Service to Laurens residents, but officials say the funnel touched down about four miles away from the Gray Court area with maximum wind speeds up to 80mph.
No injuries were reported, and all reported damage was to trees and a few outdoor buildings.
The tornado ended just half a mile from where it touched down in the Cooley Road, Greenpond Road, and Perrin Circle area.
