A fatal collision in Laurens County involving a cyclist on Thursday.
Trooper Joe Hovis reports the crash happened around 7:25 pm.
A 16 year old in a 2015 Nissan was driving south on SC 101 and struck a cyclist, also traveling south, from the rear.
The driver was uninjured. The cyclist, who was wearing a helmet, succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The teenage driver was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
