The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash after a motorcyclist struck a deer. The collision happened around 1 AM on S.C. 135 close to Montague Drive. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was thrown off the motorcycle when they hit the deer. Troopers say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
