Driver responsible for a head on collision flees scene.
The crash happened Sunday afternoon on US 221 near Ekom Beach Road around 3:00pm in Laurens County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the driver of a 2013 Chevy Impala was traveling north when the driver crossed the center line to the left, slamming head-on into a 2013 Dodge Charger.
The driver of the Impala took off on foot after the crash.
The driver of the Charger was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for tips regarding the identity of that Impala driver.
